How NatoSpellBase works

Letter mapping follows the international radiotelephony spelling alphabet (ICAO), commonly searched as the NATO phonetic alphabet. We use Alfa (not Alpha), Juliett (two t's), and X-ray.

Spelling tools map A–Z characters in your input to code words and join them for copy. Other characters are skipped. Optional browser speech synthesis may read a selected word or the full spell strip — that is a convenience voice, not an official ATC recording.

Quizzes draw randomly from the same 26-word list. Scores stay in the session; nothing is uploaded for grading.
